Job summary

Maxicare Health Care in Cebu City is seeking a 2D Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms and support timely, accurate cardiac diagnoses in collaboration with Cardiologists. We welcome high-potential candidates from allied health fields who are willing to undergo hands-on training, with a 1-year employment bond.

You will operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, prepare patients, and coordinate with Cardiologists while upholding patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BS Radiologic Technology (RRT or RXT) preferred.
• Certification in 2D Echo from a recognized training center.
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Willingness to be trained for ultrasound technician role.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D echocardiograms (M-mode, Doppler, color flow) with high quality work.
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures and ensure comfort.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound machines.
• Coordinate with Cardiologists and deliver timely results.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy.
• Maintain equipment and monitor supplies.
