Qualifications

• Graduate of any allied health program.
• Certified 2D Echo Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for 2D Echo by explaining heart ultrasound procedure and provides ambulatory assistance
• Obtains and records patient identification and medical history
• Produces high quality imaging by accurately positioning transducers and monitoring display
• Measures heart wall thickness and chamber sizes to standard norms
• Produces official results of tests conducted
