Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Driving Operations:Operating 10-wheeler trucks (often wing vans or closed vans) to transport goods from distribution centers to customers or job sites.
• Logistics Coordination:Planning routes and maintaining strict delivery schedules, including long-distance hauls.
• Cargo Management:Loading and unloading cargo safely, which may involve using forklifts, pallet jacks, or operating mounted cranes.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking tires, oil, brakes) and reporting defects.
• Safety Compliance:Adhering to all traffic rules, safety protocols, and company policies, including proper documentation of driving hours.
• Documentation:Recording cargo deliveries, maintaining accurate, detailed driving logs, and managing delivery paperwork.
