Responsibilities

• Demonstrate products, methods, or services to persuade customers to buy or use them.
• Explain product features and benefits clearly to potential customers.
• Distribute samples, brochures, and flyers to source new sales opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and tailor presentations accordingly.
• Set up promotions and demonstration spaces to attract attention at events.
• Attend trade shows, stores, and community venues to engage with potential buyers.

Job description

• Demonstrate and explain products, methods, or services in order to persuade customers to purchase products or utilize services. Create a positive image and lead consumers to use it
• Use lectures, films, charts, and/or slide shows
• Distribute product samples, brochures, flyers etc. to source new sales opportunities
• Identify interest and understand customer needs and requirements
• Set up booths or promotional stands and stock products
• Visit trade shows, stores, community organizations, and other venues to demonstrate products or services, and to answer questions from potential customers.
• Keep areas neat while working, and return items to correct locations following demonstrations.
• Sell products being promoted, and keep records of sales.
• Set up and arrange displays and demonstration areas to attract the attention of prospective customers.
