And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** • Proven experience in system management, network administration, and technical support. • A solid understanding of operating systems (such as Windows, Linux, or Unix), networks, and software systems. • Familiarity with cyber security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, IT security architecture, risk management, cyber threat hunting, and cyber security standards. • Expertise in data warehousing, database administration and design, data quality, data modeling, data architecture, and various programming languages. • Proficient knowledge of network routing and switching, network troubleshooting, engineering and infrastructure, load balancing, and virtual private networks.• Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, particularly Traditional WebSphere and preferably WebSphere Liberty.• Installation, configuration, administration, patching, and upgrading of WebSphere environments.• Deployment and support of Java/Jakarta EE applications, including EAR, WAR, and JAR packages. • Experience with IBM Installation Manager, fix packs, interim fixes, and version migrations.• Fluent English and German skills. • Configuration of:- Application servers and profiles- Cells, nodes, clusters, and Deployment Manager- JDBC data sources and connection pools- JMS resources, queues, and messaging engines- JNDI, security roles, and shared libraries- HTTP servers and WebSphere plug-ins **Preferred Technical and Professional Experience** • Systematic and troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of databases (SQL, DB2, MySQL, etc.) • Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or project management• Experience integrating WebSphere with enterprise systems, APIs, message brokers, and databases At Kyndryl, we recognize the value of top talent — that’s why we’re proud to offer a compensation package that exceeds market standards for this role. The minimum yearly salary suitable for this full-time role as a WebSphere Application Server Specialist is €74,200.
