You will work on RTOS, device drivers, and embedded Linux, collaborating across IoT, automotive, and industrial applications, with 100% remote work and flexible hours.

Strong C/C++ expertise and 5+ years in embedded systems are required; English proficiency is essential in our multicultural environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or firmware development.
• Proven expertise in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Proficiency in developing device drivers and performing low-level debugging.
• Strong background in firmware for IoT, automotive, or industrial devices.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Senior Embedded Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior Embedded Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance firmware and embedded software for a variety of hardware platforms. You will serve as the vital link between hardware constraints and software execution, ensuring that integrated systems operate with maximum efficiency and reliability in mission-critical environments.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
• Design and implement low-level device drivers to facilitate seamless hardware-software communication.
• Integrate real-time operating systems (RTOS) to manage complex task scheduling and resource allocation.
• Conduct deep-dive debugging and performance tuning at the hardware abstraction layer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements for IoT, automotive, or industrial applications.
• Ensure system stability and security through rigorous testing and low-level code optimization.
