Job summary

Applaudo Studios is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will own turning business questions into meaningful KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and recommendations, with a focus on data quality and storytelling.

The role is a 2-month contractor agreement starting in the first week of November. You will build Looker Studio dashboards on BigQuery, write complex SQL, and use Python to automate data tasks, collaborating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards in Looker Studio, ideally on top of BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data solutions.
• Understanding of software development best practices and exposure to modern data platforms.
• Ability to translate data into business-oriented insights, narratives, and recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher) to work directly with stakeholders.

Note:

This position is offered under a 2-month contractor agreement, with an expected start date during the first week of November. Immediate availability is preferred.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence roles.
• Strong hands-on experience building dashboards in Looker Studio, ideally on top of BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
