Job summary

UniCredit Bank Austria AG sucht eine Securities Operations-Fachkraft mit GEOS‑Erfahrung und tiefer Kompetenz im steuerlichen Processing von Wertpapierinvestitionen. Sie arbeiten international, bearbeiten Tax-Services und unterstützen Prozessverbesserungen.

Sie arbeiten selbstständig im Team, mit hoher Genauigkeit, in Vollzeit in Wien, Österreich. Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich.

Qualifications

• Erfahrung in Securities Services, Custody oder Investment Operations.
• Kenntnisse in GEOS, KESt, Quellensteuer und Tax Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Verarbeiten und überwachen von Securities-Back-Office-Aktivitäten über den Transaktionszyklus.
• Bearbeitung steuerlicher Dienstleistungen im Zusammenhang mit Wertpapierinvestitionen (Quellensteuer, Relief at Source, Tax Reclaims, Tax Reporting).
• Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdersn, Verwahrstellen und Marktteilnehmern.
• Unterstützung regulatorischer und marktbetriebener Änderungen.
• Identifikation von Prozessverbesserungen durch Automatisierung und Digitalisierung.
• Mitarbeit an Projekten und Initiativen im Investment Operations.
• Aufrechterhaltung hochwertiger, robuster operativer Dienstleistungen.

We are looking for a Securities Operations professional with experience in GEOS and a solid understanding of tax-related processing for securities investments, including withholding tax, tax reclaims, relief at source, and tax reporting.

This role combines securities back-office expertise with specialized tax services, offering the opportunity to work on complex topics, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders across an international investment environment.

What you'll be doing

• Process and monitor securities back-office activities throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Manage tax-related services connected to securities investments, including withholding tax processing, relief at source, tax reclaims, and tax reporting
• Handle operational events, exceptions, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders, custodians, counterparties, and market participants
• Support regulatory and market-driven changes impacting securities and tax processing
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and digitalization
• Participate in projects and strategic initiatives within Investment Operations
• Contribute to maintaining high-quality and resilient operational services

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Securities Services, Custody, Investment Operations, or Securities Back Office
• Hands-on experience with GEOS
• Knowledge of KESt, withholding tax, tax reclaims, relief at source, and tax reporting related to securities investments
• Strong understanding of securities products and operational processes
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and service orientation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and spoken English and German skills

We will agree on what you can actually earn with us in the interview! At least EUR 63.000,-- gross according to the collective agreement for 38.5 hours per week.
