Asymmetric Research seeks an experienced Security Engineer to support the Solana Incident Report Network (SIRN), serving as primary operational resource for incident command, triage, and response workflows across the program.

You will work closely with AR's incident response team to ensure timely, well-documented, coordinated responses to security events affecting the Solana ecosystem, in a fully remote, high-tempo environment.

Formación

• 3+ years of security engineering or incident response experience.
• Experience with Web3 security and Solana ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills to convey findings to engineers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.
• Background in Web2 security operations (EDR, MDM, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with DeFi attack patterns and on-chain forensics.

Responsabilidades

• Incident Command & Triage: act as Incident Commander for SIRN cases, oversee from detection to resolution and post-incident reviews.
• Telemetry & Detection: develop, tune, and triage telemetry signals including on-chain monitoring.
• Runbook Curation: author and maintain runbooks tailored to SIRN scenarios.
• Project & Logistics Support: track deliverables, coordinate stakeholder communications, ensure milestones; maintain documentation.
