Hitachi Energy is seeking a senior Operations & Project Portfolio Manager in Peru to lead a portfolio of strategic transmission, substation, and grid integration projects across Latin America, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery while upholding quality standards.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive profitability and efficiency, set priorities, allocate resources, monitor schedules and risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Electrical Civil Engineer or Electro-Mechanical Engineer (Mandatory).
• MBA or Master’s Degree in Business Management.
• PMP Certification.
• 15+ years of experience in multinational companies within the energy sector.
• 5+ years leading operations and project portfolios related to transmission, substations, or grid integration (Mandatory).
• Professional experience working in Peru and across Latin America.
• Fluent English (Mandatory).
• 100% On-site

The opportunity

As an Operations & Project Portfolio Manager, you will lead the execution, governance, and performance of a portfolio of strategic projects within the energy sector, with a strong focus on transmission, substations, and grid integration. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

This is a senior leadership role where you will influence business performance across multiple countries in Latin America, partnering with customers, internal stakeholders, and project teams to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and project outcomes. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization while developing high-performing teams and shaping business strategy.
