Position Summary

Are you looking to be a part of a vibrant and creative advertising agency? A creative with design experience who excels in both digital and print production? Then look no further, as Vitro is seeking a skilled full-time Production Artist with design experience to join our team in San Diego. In this key role, you’ll refine designs in their final stages of development to prepare files for print and digital execution. If you have a sharp eye for detail and strong creative and technical skills to execute a variety of production tasks efficiently, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the creative team to design and produce digital banners that align with brand and campaign objectives
• Finalize print deliverables—such as brochures, ads, out-of-home, tradeshow graphics, packaging, and more—based on approved creative comps, ensuring all layouts meet required specifications
• Recommend and implement enhancements to images and layouts when appropriate
• Adhere to established production standards and job specifications
• Additional responsibilities may include light image retouching, development of HTML5 banners, creation of presentation decks, and support with general production tasks as needed
• Collaborate effectively with producers, team members, and creative leads to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth project execution

Who You Are

• High School diploma. Certificate, AA, or BA a plus but not required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a production artist or production designer
• Open to work onsite at our San Diego office, Monday through Friday
• Experience proofing, pre-flighting, and preparing press-ready files
• Experience designing and building decks in Keynote and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of current production and graphic design trends, retouching techniques, software, and prepress requirements
• Basic Office skills using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, InDesign, XD, and Illustrator), as well as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Figma
• Experience building HTML5 Banners in Google Web Designer
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Must have an eye for design, exemplary attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a strong work ethic

Additional Info

• The position will be in-office: Monday through Friday. Office location: 225 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101
• $68,000-$72,000 annually (Salary rate will be based on experience)
