Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem located in Lima, Peru, is looking for a candidate to set the product direction for backend trading systems. The role involves improving core systems, leading the product lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The ideal applicant should possess analytical and problem-solving skills along with an understanding of financial products like Margin and Futures. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for coordination with global stakeholders.

Formación

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
• Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc.
• Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.
• Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.
• Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Product experience is not a must but preferred.
• Deep understanding of Financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options etc.
• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).
• Ability to understand trading logics, risk methods, and translate them into product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
