Taiba Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Officer to support inpatient and outpatient services in the Pharmacy Department. You will type prescriptions and labels for pharmacist review, manage stock by expiry date, and ensure accurate prescription records and timely inventory updates to support hospital operations.

Key requirements include a Bachelor of Pharmacy and at least 1 year in a pharmacy or hospital setting, with strong knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, calculations, and terminology, plus

• Bachelor of Pharmacy required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy/hospital experience or 1 year of clerical/pharmacy supply experience.
• Knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, pharmaceutical calculations, and record keeping.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Prescription Preparation: Type prescriptions and labels with patient, medication, and dosage details for pharmacist review.
• Stock Management: Receive supplies, tag and price items, and rotate stock by expiry date.
• Inventory Support: Assist pharmacists with counting drugs and supplies.
• Records & Reporting: Maintain prescription records and compile daily statistics, including new prescriptions received.
• Customer & Communication Support: Answer calls, handle emails, and route inquiries to the right person.
• Work Area Standards: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant.
