This is a Partner-level opportunity with equity ownership for a Principal, Director, or Vice President-level professional looking to further their career in a highly visible, business-critical role with significant growth potential.

The Role

The Capital Project Delivery Leader will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic connector between ERM's clients and the services required to support successful project development and execution. The role helps clients navigate permitting requirements, environmental and social challenges, stakeholder expectations, sustainability commitments, and project delivery risks, supporting projects from early planning and development through construction, operations, and closure. As a key member of ERM's leadership team in Peru, the successful candidate will be responsible for growing the Capital Project Delivery business, strengthening client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and programs across a variety of sectors. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, project delivery expertise, and the ability to align ERM's multidisciplinary services with evolving client needs and market trends.

Role Profile

As a Partner and Capital Project Delivery Leader, you will be accountable for successfully selling and delivering services across ERM's Capital Project Delivery portfolio while expanding the service line's presence, market share, and impact in Peru. You will work closely with colleagues across ERM Peru, Latin America, and ERM's global network to secure project backlog, grow revenue, deliver exceptional client outcomes, and achieve profitability objectives. We are looking for an established leader who combines consulting excellence, project delivery expertise, and business development capabilities with a proven history of building and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Growth

• Lead the growth and strategic development of ERM's Capital Project Delivery service line in Peru.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
• Strengthen ERM's position as a trusted advisor for complex capital projects.
• Collaborate with ERM's global and regional teams to bring integrated solutions to clients.

Client Development

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, contractors, regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and expand strategic client accounts.
• Understand client priorities and position ERM's capabilities to deliver measurable business value.
• Act as a senior advisor to clients facing complex project development and delivery challenges.

Project Delivery Excellence

• Lead and oversee the successful execution of projects and programs.
• Ensure high standards of quality, technical excellence, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and permitting through construction, operations, and closure.
• Drive innovative approaches that improve project outcomes and address evolving market needs.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top talent.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop future leaders within the Capital Project Delivery team.
• Promote ERM's values, safety culture, and commitment to technical excellence.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure compliance with ERM's health and safety standards.
• Manage project risks, budgets, schedules, and contractual commitments.
• Drive operational efficiency and profitability across the project portfolio.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Biology, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in consulting firms involving the development and execution of large capital projects.
• Minimum of 7 years of business development experience associated with capital project development and delivery.
• Strong understanding of the capital project lifecycle, from planning and permitting through construction and operations.
• Established reputation and professional network within Peru.
• Demonstrated success in originating, winning, managing, and delivering large and complex projects and programs.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify strategic opportunities and develop integrated solutions.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English communication skills (mandatory).
• Strong seller-doer profile with demonstrated capability in both business development and project execution.
• Based in Peru with deep knowledge of the local market, regulatory environment, and business landscape.

Preferred Experience

• Established relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in industries that develop and operate capital-intensive projects.
• Experience advising clients on permitting, environmental and social impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, sustainability performance, risk management, and capital project delivery.
• Experience working with global organizations and multicultural teams.
• Strong understanding of ESG, sustainability, environmental permitting, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate multidisciplinary services into comprehensive client solutions.
