Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor works in close communication with the Branch Manager, and leads the warehouse, materials handling and general logistics functions. The Operations Supervisor will oversee inventory control, prioritise and allocate tasks, and monitor workload to ensure product orders are processed and delivered in full and on time. Further, the Operations Supervisor will organise personnel and resources, keeping the Branch Manager fully informed regarding output progress, workload, team performance, warehouse storage systems, space allocation, and operational plant/equipment and vehicle maintenance.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals with warehousing and distribution team leader experience who aspire to work within an agile and technically diverse Warehouse and Distribution Operation with products of differing technical and physical constraints. You will apply your intellect and ingenuity to achieve “best practice” and be influential in driving efficiency and improve the DIFOT customer experience. If you have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and mentor a small logistics and warehouse team, and a keen desire to make a difference, we need to hear from you. Of necessity, you will have Forklift experience, competent skills in computer-based inventory records, spreadsheets and logistics processing systems.

Your ability to plan and mentor efficient work procedures and motivate a small team to achieve high output and accurate on-time fill rates, will be your keys to success. A competitive salary will be negotiated to attract motivated candidates.
