Inventive Media Trainers is seeking a Power BI Trainer on a part-time basis. The role involves delivering engaging Power BI sessions, both in person and virtually, across a broad audience.

You will develop materials, assess learning progress, and ensure content stays up-to-date with the latest Power BI features. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in BI and prior teaching experience, with strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in data analysis or BI.
• Proven experience using Power BI for visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person or virtual Power BI training sessions with lectures and labs.
• Teach topics from basic to advanced Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Adapt teaching methods for diverse learners and skill levels.
• Develop and update course materials, slides, exercises, quizzes, and projects.
• Create real-world case studies and practical examples for learners.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and industry best practices.

Microsoft Power BI Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. The training module comprises of 3 sessions/days, typically scheduled from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Classes are held only once every month to avoid any conflicts with regular office hours.

Key Functions

Course Delivery:

• Conduct in-person or virtual Power BI training sessions, including lectures, hands-on labs, and group activities.
• Teach a range of topics from Power BI basics to advanced data modeling, DAX, and visualizations.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and skill levels.
• Develop and update Power BI course materials, including slides, exercises, quizzes, and projects.
• Create real-world case studies and practical examples to enhance learning.
• Ensure course content is current with the latest Power BI updates and best practices.

Student Support:

• Provide one-on-one assistance to students, addressing questions and offering guidance on assignments and projects.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their skills.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Evaluation and Assessment:

• Design and administer assessments to measure student understanding and progress.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and grades.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, trends, and industry practices.
• Participate in instructor training sessions and professional development activities.
• Gather and analyze student feedback to continually improve the course offerings.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Proven experience using Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence solutions.
• Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation tools.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.

Compensation Package

• Php 2,500 – 3,000 per session (Tax-Free)
