Exclusive Household Staff is seeking a warm, professional Live-In Nanny/Governess for a Kuwait-based family. The role focuses on the 7-year-old girl, with support for two independent older children; Fluent English is required, French is an advantage. A private two-bedroom apartment is provided; work hours are roughly 6:45am–7:00pm, Sunday to Thursday, with some flexibility for evenings.

Salary is circa KWD 1,750 net per month, tax-free, depending on experience. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• DBS check (or equivalent) and First Aid certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage morning routines, school run, after-school routine, and travel with the family when required.

Live‑In Nanny/Governess

Location: Kuwait
Salary: Circa KWD 1,750 net per month (approx. £4,200), tax‑free, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday are the weekend), approx. 6:45am – 7:00pm, with a break while the children are at school 8-1

Our clients are seeking an experienced, professional Nanny/Governess to join their family in Kuwait on a live‑in basis, with a private, separate apartment close to the family home.
The family consists of two Principals and their three children: two boys aged 14 and 11, and a girl aged 7. The main focus of the role is the 7‑year‑old girl. Both boys are independent, so the Nanny will mainly check in with them rather than provide hands‑on care. The family also have a PA.
The successful candidate will be warm, polished and organised, with a high standard of professionalism and presentation. Fluent English is essential. French is a significant advantage, as the family would like the children to learn the language, but it is not essential.

Duties to include, but are not limited to

• Bring structure and routine while also being creative and caring
• Providing attentive, hands‑on care for the 7‑year‑old daughter as the main focus of the role
• Checking in with and supporting the two older boys, who are largely independent
• Morning routine and school run (school starts at 7:30am)
• School pick‑up at 2:30pm and managing the after‑school routine
• Supporting the children with homework
• Organising and supporting extracurricular activities and weekly schedules
• Helping with child‑related PA/admin, working alongside the family’s PA where required
• Occasional ad hoc support during the school day if the Principals request it
• Occasional flexibility to work later than 7:00pm when the family have guests
• Travelling with the family when required, particularly during the summer holidays

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Nanny or Governess in a private household
• French an advantage, to help the children learn the language (not essential)
• Experience supporting children with homework and extracurricular activities
• Highly professional, with a polished presentation and discreet approach
• Organised, proactive and flexible
• Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent)
• First Aid certification advantageous

Private, separate two-bedroom apartment, fully furnished, a one-minute walk from the family home. All bills are paid by the family
