Job summary

codeTec is seeking a Junior PLC Programmer to join a small, close-knit team and work on exciting automation projects. You will program and develop PLC control systems, and create HMIs to visualize operations.

With guidance from experienced colleagues, you will support commissioning, troubleshoot issues, document software, and contribute to customized automation solutions while gradually taking on more ownership.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or related field.
• Basic PLC programming knowledge with Beckhoff and/or B&R experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow in automation technology.

Responsibilities

• Program and further develop PLC control systems.
• Create and adapt visualizations and HMIs.
• Support commissioning of machines and industrial systems.
• Troubleshoot, optimize and document existing programs.
• Contribute to development of customized automation solutions.

As a Junior PLC Programmer (m/f/d), you will work alongside experienced colleagues on exciting automation projects.

Programming and further development of PLC control systems

Creating and adapting visualizations and user interfaces (HMI)

What You Bring to the Team

Completed technical education, e.g. a technical college (HTL), vocational school, or apprenticeship in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a related field

Basic knowledge of PLC programming – initial experience with Beckhoff and/or B&R is an advantage

Good technical understanding and a strong interest in automation

Logical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset

Willingness to learn new skills and continuously develop your technical expertise

An independent, reliable, and responsible approach to work

Team spirit and enthusiasm for technical challenges
