AECOM is seeking a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Lima, Peru office. You will assist with bearing capacity, slope stability, settlement and seepage analyses, and support geotechnical reporting on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include preparing stratigraphic profiles, geotechnical sections, and instrumentation plans using AutoCAD and geotechnical software. You will collaborate with the design team and draft reports under a senior specialist, with opportunities to grow

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and geotechnical fundamentals.
• Proven experience in geotechnical laboratory practices.
• Available to travel as required.

AECOM is seeking a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to work in our Lima, Peru office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in bearing capacity, slope stability analysis, settlement and seepage assessment using geotechnical specialized software (e.g., GeoStudio, SLIDE, PLAXIS).
• Organizes, reviews, and prepares information of soil tests for analysis and processing.
• Prepare stratigraphic profiles, geotechnical sections, and instrumentation plans in programs such as AutoCAD
• Communication and collaboration with full design team.
• Draft geotechnical reports and technical documents under the guidance of a senior specialist.
• Developing projects that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings.
• Assist in creating project designs and plans and preparing presentation and design drawings or data in coordination with his leader.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering+ 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Proven experience in geotechnical laboratory practices.
• Available to travel as required
• Experience in processing geophysical tests

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in client management, excellent communications skills
• Use of Geotechnical Software advanced level, Plaxis 2D, Slide2, Civil 3D, SAFE and ETABS.
• Intermediate level of English
