The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mining Engineering and at least 7 years of surface mining experience. Responsibilities include developing extraction methodologies, liaising between Stantec offices, and managing short- and long-term planning. Proficiency in mining design software like Vulcan or MineSight is essential, along with excellent communication skills. This is a fixed-term employment opportunity.

Formación

• 5 - 10 years of experience in surface mining.
• Engineering and operations experience at an operating mine considered an asset.
• Prior experience in short-range planning and scheduling required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out the calculation and methodology of the material extraction in a mine or quarry.
• Develop the economic plan for execution of the extraction in a profitable manner.
• Be a liaison between Stantec offices (Lima and Salt Lake City).
• Review and correct models for mining material extraction.
