Job summary

FullStack Labs, Inc. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer (Java + React) for remote work in Latin America. You will join client teams, integrating with designers and engineers on project-based development for U.S. clients.

We require 3+ years of experience, a four-year degree, and strong backend with Spring Boot and Hibernate. React + TypeScript is a plus. Agile teams and CI/CD practices are part of the environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor's degree (4-year college) is required.
• Hands-on Spring Boot backend development experience.
• Proven experience with Hibernate and ORM.
• MS SQL Server design, queries, and data management.
• Experience designing and developing reliable backend services and APIs.
• Knowledge of React; TypeScript is a plus.
• Strong OOP and software design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD and production deployment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Nice to have: JPA, JSF.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Full Stack Engineer (Java + React).

You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of professional software development experience.

Advanced English is required.

Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.

Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for backend application and service development.

Proven experience working with Hibernate and object-relational mapping.

Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, database design, and data management.

Experience designing and developing reliable backend services and APIs.

Knowledgeable in React, and TypeScript is a plus.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and clean, maintainable code.

Practical experience troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and maintaining production applications.

Experience with JPA, and JSF is a nice to have.

Comfortable collaborating with other engineers and contributing across backend and full-stack development when required.

Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.

Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.

Forensic attention to detail.

A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.

Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.

Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
