Job summary

ams-OSRAM AG's LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics unit advances the digitalization of light by combining electronics, silicon, and system expertise for data centers, AR/VR, mobile and automotive applications. The role centers on technical leadership for foundry customers, assisting in foundry processes and analog circuit design, with exposure to CADENCE tools and PDKs.

The position requires a strong background in electronics and layout, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Technical education (HTL, Bachelor or Master) in Electronics, Telematics or Physics.
• Good knowledge of analog circuit design (at least 10 years of experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of microchip layout.
• Basic knowledge of Synopsis design environments is an advantage.
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
• High level of motivation and commitment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional language skills (e.g. German) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Lead for foundry customers.
• Technical support for Foundry customers (350nm CMOS and HV CMOS, 180nm CMOS and BCD technologies).
• Provide support in mixed signal microchip design for Foundry customers with special focus in analog circuit design.
• Provide support in CADENCE design environment.
• Provide support in physical design verification with Siemens/Mentor/Calibre and Cadence /Assura.
• Tape-outs to internal Maskshop data preparation group.
• Participation in PDK training for customers as tutor.
• PDK licensing management.
