Job summary

Join JPMorganChase in Peru as a Legal Intern within the Corporate & Investment Banking Legal team to gain exposure to contracts, regulatory matters, banking and corporate law while collaborating with local and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing agreements, supporting regulatory communications, drafting legislative updates, and assisting with capacity reviews. Availability in Lima, Peru is required.

Qualifications

• Current law student (7th cycle) with interest in finance and corporate law.
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Part-time availability (30hs per week).
• Availability to work in Lima, Peru.

Responsibilities

• Review agreements with clients and suppliers.
• Support regulatory and governmental communications (e.g., information requests and related documentation).
• Prepare legislative updates relevant to Peruvian bank and/or clients.
• Assist with general banking and civil law matters, including capacity/authority reviews (e.g., powers of attorney).
• Support responses and documentation for requests from clients and administrative entities in Peru.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.

Join the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Legal team in Peru as a Legal Intern. • Supporting regulatory and governmental communications (e.g., information requests and related documentation).
• Preparing legislative updates relevant to the Peruvian bank and/or clients
• Assisting with general banking and civil law matters, including capacity/authority reviews (e.g., powers of attorney).
• Supporting responses and documentation for requests from clients and administrative entities in Peru.
• Contributing to special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current law student (since 7th cycle).
• Fluent in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong interest in the financial system, stock exchange, investment banking, and corporate/banking law.
• Part-time availability (30hs per week)
• Availability to work in Lima, Peru.
