FullStack is seeking a Data Engineer to join our talent network for flexible, project-based work with U.S. clients. You will integrate into client teams and contribute to data engineering efforts in Python, AWS, and DBT.

You will build data pipelines, model data in PostgreSQL, and deploy RESTful APIs in production, working within Agile/Scrum teams and CI/CD workflows. This remote opportunity offers exposure to leading startups and Fortune 500 companies.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Strong Python for data engineering, data processing, transformation, and automation.
• Strong SQL with PostgreSQL and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on data pipelines and transformation workflows using DBT.
• Experience with data integration and ingestion including Airbyte.
• Experience with AWS data stack: S3, Lambda, Step Functions.
• Developing and integrating RESTful APIs in production.
• Hands-on Docker, Linux CLI, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ability to own and deliver on commitments within Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate into client teams and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows using Python, DBT, and AWS services.
• Model data concepts in PostgreSQL and optimize data storage.
• Ingest data using Airbyte and ensure reliable data integration pipelines.
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs for production use.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Docker.

The Opportunity

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Strong professional experience with Python for data engineering, data processing, transformation, and automation.
• Strong SQL experience, with hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL and data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformation workflows using DBT.
• Experience with data integration and ingestion, including hands-on experience with Airbyte.
• Experience working with the AWS data stack, particularly S3, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux CLI, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Experience working with healthcare or health-related data is strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and translate data requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
