BairesDev in Peru proudly invites a data engineer to join our fully remote global team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure Databricks, turning raw data into actionable insights for analytics and reporting.

You will collaborate with analysts and data scientists, enforce data governance, and optimize ETL/ELT processes. The role requires 4+ years experience and strong English skills.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Data or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise building data pipelines on Azure Databricks.
• Advanced SQL skills for transformation, cleaning and optimization.
• Strong understanding of Azure-native data services and architecture.
• Hands-on experience supporting analytics and reporting workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated data pipelines for large-scale ingestion and transformation using Azure Databricks.
• Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes to convert raw data into structured formats suitable for downstream consumption.
• Build and manage data lakehouse architectures, ensuring data consistency and reliability across different storage layers.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to define data requirements and develop models that support complex business queries.
• Monitor pipeline performance and proactively troubleshoot bottlenecks to ensure the stability of the data platform.
• Apply data governance and quality controls to maintain high standards of data integrity and security across the Azure environment.

What We Are Looking For
