Google Cloud is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer (AppMod/Apigee) to solve complex customer issues for LATAM accounts. You will influence customer domain experts and feed knowledge back into product development while engaging in development and prototyping within your domain.

You will collaborate with sales and platform teams to drive technical wins, and help teams deliver cloud-native architectures that meet customer needs while expanding Google Cloud adoption across the region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of cloud-native architecture experience in a customer-facing role.
• 3 years of experience with API design/implementation (Apigee) and related tech.
• Experience in deployment planning, orchestration, or change management.
• Experience in programming languages (Python/Java/Go) and systems design.
• Fluent Spanish and English for client relationship management.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the technical win for AppMod, Apigee integrations, and AI workloads.
• Lead development and prototyping to deliver customer-tailored solutions for technical buy-in.
• Collaborate with Account teams and Engineers to discuss integrating modern architectures into legacy ecosystems.
• Advocate for Google Cloud AI/ML portfolios and enable local teams to deliver AI solutions.
• Coordinate with GTM, Product Management, and Engineering to resolve blockers and shape features.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing, consulting, or technical support role.
• 3 years of experience architecting and implementing APIs in Apigee, using a combination of technologies, languages, and standards such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OpenAPI, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in deployment planning, orchestration, or change management.
• Experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go), debugging, or systems design.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience selling or promoting technical solutions in Application Modernization (App Mod), Infrastructure Modernization (Infra Mod), and cloud migrations.
• Experience working with product and capacity teams to resolve complex technical blockers.
• Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a fluid, digital-native or startup environment.
• Direct experience designing and deploying solutions leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) models.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms and system architecture integrations.

You will engage in development and prototyping within your domain, proving the value of the Google Cloud portfolio and driving the technical win for advanced, cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex Application Modernization, Apigee integrations, and AI workloads.
• Lead development and prototyping to build functional, customer-tailored solutions that secure technical buy-in from customer domain experts (such as CTOs, CISOs, and Lead Architects).
• Partner with Account teams, Platform CEs, and Outcome CEs to lead highly technical conversations regarding how to integrate advanced modern architectures into legacy ecosystems.
• Advocate for and build with Google Cloud's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning portfolios, ensuring local teams have the technical depth to deliver AI solutions with less dependency on external specialist groups.
• Serve as a liaison between complex customer deployments and Google Cloud's Practice Go-to-Market (GTM), Product Management, and Engineering organizations to resolve product blockers and shape future features.
