You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, engage CXOs, and shape engagements from scoping to delivery, balancing business value with technology impact in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

The Role

Kyndryl Consult is the fastest growing business within the organization and instrumental to the company’s strategic growth objectives. As a Consult Partner – Data, Applications & AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving profitable growth, leveraging our comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and leading your team to success. You will play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements and creating strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite. This position spans the intersection of complex Business and IT customer solutions, driving Data, Application, and AI-led transformations that impact the entire customer ecosystem. Working in pre- or post-deal transaction environments, you will oversee post-deal implementation planning and support execution while focusing on financial impact, utilization, contribution, client impact, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Contribute to Profitable Growth Drive significant financial outcomes through signings and revenue targets for Data, Application, and AI-driven services. Ensure sustained growth and profitability by managing margin expectations and backlog growth. Support the identification, pursuit, and conversion of a high-value pipeline of business development opportunities with senior stakeholders. Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on engagements while ensuring profitability and managing risk.
• 2. Client Engagement Build and maintain deep relationships with client CXOs, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for senior executives. Lead C-level client interactions, consulting initiatives, deliverables, and deal engagement outputs. Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, creating solutions to business problems and presenting content that resonates with both business and IT stakeholders. Enhance client satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and secure new client references.
• 3. Operational Excellence Achieve individual and team utilization/chargeability targets. Lead the design of complex engagements and oversee delivery to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
• 4. Leadership & People Management Lead and scale multi-disciplinary teams across Data, Application, and AI practice areas. Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous personal and professional development. Challenge teams to be curious, innovative, and mutually supportive while ensuring all outcomes are commercially focused and value-adding. Foster talent development and drive innovation within the organization.
• 5. Strategic Contribution Utilize deep expertise in Data, Applications, and AI to shape and drive the company’s strategic initiatives in alignment with Kyndryl’s strategic vision. Drive external eminence and innovation, establishing a strong personal and organizational brand in the industry. Proactively develop thought leadership and intellectual capital in Advanced Analytics, Data Modernization, Governance, and AI.

Who You Are

• IT Consulting Leadership: Extensive experience and a proven track record in IT Consulting with a global consulting firm, achieving sales, business development, chargeability, and delivery success.
• Data, Application & AI Expertise: Proven experience building and scaling Data & AI practices, including Data & AI Strategy, Advanced Analytics, Data Modernization, Data Governance, Application Modernization, and practical implementation of AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• CXO Relationship & Sales Management: Extensive experience advising, engaging, and managing relationships at the CXO level, with a demonstrable ability to build, expand, and commercialize executive relationships and achieve sales targets.
• Complex Project Leadership: Track record of leading and executing complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting, corporate, or public sector environment.
• Financial Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen with experience driving revenue growth, managing margins, and executing strategic growth plans.
• Industry Eminence & Industry Knowledge: Sound personal brand and presence in the industry, with a deep understanding of industry trends and technology (relevant experience in the Financial Sector is desirable).
