Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Perfusion Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional cardiac perfusion experience.
• Professional certification and/or licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during cardiac surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient physiological parameters throughout cardiopulmonary bypass.
• Prepare, check, and maintain perfusion equipment and related extracorporeal circulation systems.
• Ensure all perfusion equipment is properly prepared and functioning before procedures.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive perfusion records and patient documentation.
• Participate in emergency cardiac support and extracorporeal procedures when required.

Job Summary

The Clinical Perfusionist will be responsible for operating the heart-lung machine and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgery while ensuring patient safety and providing optimal physiological support throughout surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cardiopulmonary bypass, cardiac physiology, emergency cardiac support, and perfusion equipment management, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary cardiac surgery team.
