Job summary

Kids@ Churchill Park is seeking qualified, nurturing early childhood educators to join our on-call substitute list at our Connaught Out of School Care Program in Calgary. This casual, part-time role allows you to choose shifts to fit your schedule, with coverage needed during non-school days and staff absences.

You may be eligible for permanent hire if a position becomes available. Qualifications include Alberta Child Care Certification level 1-3 and First Aid, with a police check required.

Qualifications

• Alberta Child Care Certification level 1-3
• Experience with school aged children an asset
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Current Police Security Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
• Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices and work standards in Early Learning and Childhood Care and Education
• Demonstrate knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulation

Responsibilities

• Join our on-call substitute list for Connaught Out of School Care Program.
• Provide care for children during non-school days, summer break, and staff absences.

We are looking for individuals who want to work but want the freedom to choose shifts to meet their own schedules. Coverage is required for our educators during non-school days, summer break, and staff absences. There is also the possibility of being hired permanently if a position becomes available.

• Children enrolled from kindergarten to 12 years old
• Total of 3-4 staff
• Hours of Operation: 7:00am – 8:30am, 11:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Location: 1121 12 Ave SW, Calgary AB, T2R0J8
