About The Role

The Business Development Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving efficiency, standardization, and performance across the Business Development team. This individual will oversee a team of operational specialists, ensure the successful intake and implementation of projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles. The ideal candidate is a process-driven leader with a proven track record of monitoring KPIs, streamlining workflows, and enabling teams to deliver results consistently.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Oversight
  • Manage, mentor, and develop operational specialists to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • KPI Management & Reporting
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators for the Business Development team.
  • Implement operational strategies with the Business Development specialists when KPIs are not being met.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and standardized performance tracking tools.
  • Project Intake & Implementation
  • Oversee the intake process for new projects, ensuring proper scoping, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to implement projects on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Serve as a point of escalation to resolve roadblocks and ensure smooth execution.
  • Process Improvement & Standardization
  • Lead Lean process improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance productivity.
  • Build, document, and implement standardized workflows, tools, and best practices across the team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational consistency.
  • Strategic Support
  • Partner with senior leadership to align operations with long-term business development goals.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and scalability in operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, business development, or project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in KPI tracking, performance management, and reporting.
  • Experience leading Lean or Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools (e.g., ASANA, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
The Pay Range For This Role Is

18 - 21 USD per hour (Remote (Colombia))

18 - 21 USD per hour (Remote (Dominican Republic))

18 - 21 USD per hour (Remote (Costa Rica))
