The Role

The Actuarial BA is responsible for assessing client requirements related to actuarial calculations and proposing solutions to process needs. Their duties include analyzing actuarial models, producing high-quality documentation, and configuring actuarial formulas and rules in INSIS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration.
  • Writing clear and well-structured business requirements/documents.
  • Analyzing actuarial models and formulas.
  • Communicating and validating actuarial requirements with project stakeholders.
  • Configuring actuarial requirements, rules, and product components in the INSIS Actuarial Module and Configurator.
  • Supporting testing activities.
  • Leading or supporting client workshops within the scope of INSIS projects.
  • Supporting the estimation of actuarial requirements.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in written/reading English
  • Actuarial knowledge with proven experience in Life Insurance.
  • Ability to analyze and configure actuarial models, formulas, and rules in insurance systems (preferably INSIS).
