San Marcos Unified School District is seeking a Behavior Interventionist for a 6-hour/day, five days/week position (182 days/year). Applicants must meet NCLB requirements and provide proof with their EDJOIN application. Hours are roughly 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, with online EDJOIN applications only.

Preferred candidates hold NCLB-related certifications (RBT, BCAT, ABA, BCaBA) or equivalent experience. If you do not meet NCLB criteria, limited testing is offered by appointment via Human Resources.

To qualify for a Behavior Interventionist position, you must meet the State of California NCLB (No Child Left Behind) requirement.

For State NCLB compliancy, proof of one (1) of the following must be included with your application:

• Passed CBEST
• AA (Associates) or higher College Degree
• 48 College semester units or higher (1.5 quarter unit = 1 semester unit), passed at a "C" grade or higher
• Proof of a passed NCLB Test with an employing School District
