• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS.

AWS IoT Solutions Architect at BairesDev

In this role, you'll own the technical direction for a cloud platform serving connected devices, starting with an honest assessment of whether migrating to AWS is the right call at all versus hardening what already exists on GCP. Designing a four-tier access model and making build-vs-buy calls on IoT ingestion, authentication, and billing, you'll balance strict security requirements with hard per-message cost constraints. This is your opportunity to be genuinely client-facing, acting as the trusted voice on security questions from enterprise customers while designing a platform meant to be reused across future product lines, not a one-off.

What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture.

• Experience with multi-tenant RBAC and IAM design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with Auth0 or Cognito.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL time-series workloads.
• Experience with Apache NiFi or equivalent message routing tools.
• Background with Stripe or subscription-billing integration.
• Experience with cloud cost and egress optimization.
• Exposure to Ubuntu Core or edge Linux environments.
