BairesDev is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to design and operate cloud-native data pipelines. You will build ETL/ELT workflows on AWS, ensure data assets are well-governed with cataloging, and implement robust observability and QA to support critical business decisions.

AWS Data Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS, leveraging Glue and Redshift to move and transform data reliably at scale. Applying strong data cataloging and observability practices, you'll ensure data pipelines remain trustworthy and well-governed as they grow. What You'll Do

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.


• Strong experience with ETL/ELT development.

• Proficiency in Python.


• Experience with observability and monitoring for data pipelines.


• Background in data QA.


• Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with AI tooling or MCP servers.


• Background in data lake architecture using Redshift.


• Experience with CDC tools such as Qlik Replicate or DMS.


• Knowledge of insurance data models.


• Experience with event-driven architecture.
