Job summary

AECOM busca un líder de Infraestructura Digital para puertos que apoye la región de Latinoamérica, combinando visión técnica de infraestructuras críticas, seguridad IT/OT y desarrollo de negocio.

El candidato ideal diseñará arquitecturas de seguridad, elaborará especificaciones y coordinará equipos multidisciplinarios para proyectos de puertos, aeropuertos y hubs logísticos. Se requiere experiencia de 10 años y inglés avanzado.

Qualifications

• Licenciatura en Ingeniería de Sistemas, Electrónica, Telecomunicaciones, Ingeniería Eléctrica, Ingeniería Mecánica u otra formación equivalente.
• Experiencia mínima de 10 años en seguridad y/o ciberseguridad en infraestructuras críticas (puertos, aeropuertos y hubs logísticos).
• Experiencia en al menos 2 proyectos de diseño y despliegue de infraestructuras, seguridad y ciberseguridad en operaciones críticas.
• Conocimientos de arquitecturas de seguridad (IT/OT, redes, sistemas de videovigilancia, control de acceso).
• Inglés avanzado (hablado y escrito).

Responsibilities

• Establecer y validar criterios, especificaciones y estándares para proyectos de seguridad.
• Preparar documentos técnicos y especificaciones para procesos de adquisición.
• Participar en el desarrollo e implementación de sistemas de información de seguridad.
• Gestionar y analizar registros en entornos de alto volumen y complejos.
• Coordinar con equipos multidisciplinarios y actores del proyecto.
• Evaluar tecnologías emergentes y su aplicabilidad a proyectos de seguridad.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de normas y buenas prácticas internacionales.
• Diseñar, desarrollar e implementar soluciones de seguridad física y ciberseguridad para infraestructuras críticas.

Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead to support the Latin American region.

The Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead focuses on strategic business development, possessing a solid track record in the design, deployment, and operation of critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). The ideal candidate must combine an advanced technical vision in operational safety and cybersecurity (IT/OT)-enabling the movement or inspection of goods for dispatch-with the ability to identify new market opportunities, translating complex client needs and industry technology trends into compelling commercial proposals, robust protection architectures, and technical procurement specifications.

Business Development

• Lead the identification, maturation, and capture of new business opportunities in the critical infrastructure sector (ports, airports, and logistics hubs) in Latin America, translating complex client needs into technical cybersecurity and physical security (IT/OT) proposals.
• Act as AECOM's technical point of contact in the region for cargo transport security solutions, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technology partners within the logistics ecosystem.

IT (Information Technology)

• Corporate networks (LAN/WAN)

Core Responsibilities

• Establish and validate technical criteria, specifications, and standards for security projects.
• Prepare technical documents and specifications for procurement processes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of security-related information systems.
• Manage and analyze logs in high-volume, highly complex environments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to security projects.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.
• Design, develop, and implement physical security and cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or academic training.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security and/or cybersecurity within operations or business development for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs).
• Project Track Record: Experience in at least 2 projects involving participation in: Design and deployment of infrastructure as well as security and cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure operations (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). Implementation or management of monitoring and log management systems in complex environments. Project development and/or information systems.
• Knowledge Base: Security architectures (IT/OT, networks, surveillance systems, access control, etc.). International security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC, among others). Critical infrastructure protection technologies.
• Skills: Ability to develop technical specifications and procurement documents.
• Language: Advanced English (spoken and written).

Preferred Requirements

• Specialization or certifications in cybersecurity or information security is highly desirable.
• Experience in passenger and/or cargo operation environments is preferred.
