As AI Data Architect (f/m/d) in GE HealthCare's Advanced Imaging Solutions business, you will shape the global data architecture for AI development across ultrasound teams. You will align globally distributed teams on shared platform, tool, and infrastructure priorities, enabling secure, scalable, interoperable data foundations to develop, validate, and scale AI-enabled ultrasound solutions.

At GE HealthCare, our machines, our software, our solutions, our services, and our people make a genuine difference to medical professionals and patients all over the world. That’s because we never lose sight of what healthcare really needs—the human touch.

As AI Data Architect (f/m/d) in GE HealthCare's Advanced Imaging Solutions business, you will shape the global data architecture for AI development across ultrasound teams. You will align globally distributed teams on shared platform, tool, and infrastructure priorities, enabling secure, scalable, interoperable data foundations to develop, validate, and scale AI-enabled ultrasound solutions.

GE HealthCare develops medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital solutions that help clinicians make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes. With more than a century of healthcare experience, we pursue a world where healthcare has no limits and embrace respect, transparency, integrity, and diversity.

This role combines data architecture, AI development, platform strategy, and stakeholder leadership to align teams and provide secure, scalable, interoperable foundations for next-generation ultrasound products.

Align global ultrasound teams on AI data needs, use cases, and shared business and technical priorities. Evaluate third-party platforms and lead build-versus-buy decisions, vendor assessments, due diligence, and proofs of concept. Define reference architectures and standards for scalable, secure, compliant, interoperable, usable, and cost-effective data platforms.

Own the global AI data architecture roadmap, including priorities, investment proposals, capacity plans, and leadership reporting.

Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to standardize platforms, pipelines, metadata, lineage, data quality, observability, and governance.

Enable compliant healthcare-data access, de-identification, retention, sharing, and lifecycle management.

Coordinate platform onboarding, integration, migration, and retirement while promoting approved reference patterns.

Lead architecture and incident reviews, document decisions, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders while monitoring relevant emerging technologies.

Experience across the AI data and model lifecycle, including curation, annotation, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. Ability to assess vendors and technologies, including cloud platforms, APIs, distributed systems, and platform engineering concepts. Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, quality-system, and regulatory expectations for healthcare data and AI-enabled medical products. Proven ability to create roadmaps, influence across teams, and communicate effectively in English within a global organization.

Desired Qualification: Experience shaping enterprise data or AI architecture, preferably in medical imaging, healthcare, or another regulated environment.
