Job summary

Work standard is hiring a Welder on a contract basis for our site in Nizwa. The role involves fabricating and joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, with duties including reading blueprints, operating welding equipment, inspecting welds, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Accommodation is provided as part of the package. Experience is not strictly required, but proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to interpret drawings are expected.

Welder (Contract)

We are currently hiring a skilled Welder to join our team in Nizwa. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and joining metal parts using various welding techniques. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$, and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements


• Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together


• Inspect completed welds for quality and make necessary repairs


• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working


• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Welder is not required, but preferred


• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings


• Strong attention to detail and quality control


• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
