Job summary

Hudson Manpower Inc. is seeking an experienced UT Technician for an urgent Oil & Gas project at a fabrication yard in Sohar, Oman. The role involves ultrasonic testing of offshore structures and piping, with strict adherence to UT inspection standards.

Primary requirements include PCN UT certifications (3.1/3.2/3.8/3.9), 7+ years of UT experience, and ability to verify results. The assignment offers client-provided accommodation, meals, and transport, with a 3-year contract that is extendable

Qualifications

• Valid PCN UT certifications – 3.1, 3.2, 3.8 & 3.9
• Minimum 7 years of Ultrasonic Testing experience
• Hands-on UT inspection of offshore structures & piping in Oil & Gas
• Experience inspecting Butt Welds and TKY joints
• Strong knowledge of API RP 2X
• Ability to independently cross-check UT examination results
• Experience in major fabrication yards, offshore construction projects or Oil & Gas facilities
