Truck Driver (Contract)

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a contract basis in Khasab. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is a physically demanding job, requiring you to load and unload cargo, plan routes, and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another
• Load and unload cargo in a timely and efficient manner
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for each trip
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service limits
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and report any issues or concerns
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries made
• Communicate with dispatchers as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized truck at all times

Requirements

• Valid truck driving license with clean driving record
• At least 2 years of experience as a truck driverPhysically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills in English (basic Arabic preferred)
• Must be willing to work on a contract basis in Khasab

Salary: 1400$ per month
