Job summary

BlueHorizon in Salalah, Oman, is hiring a Truck Driver responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods using heavy or semi-trailer trucks. Requirements include being an Indian national with a valid Indian passport, high school graduation, a valid CDL, and a willingness to work full-time with flexible hours.

Training will be provided for freshers. You will inspect vehicles, secure cargo, plan routes, keep detailed shipment records, and communicate with dispatchers while complying with

Qualifications

• Must be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport.
• At least high school graduate or equivalent education.
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver is preferred but training provided for freshers.
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of cargo.
• Must be able to communicate in basic English.
• Willingness to work full-time with flexible hours.
• Must have free visa and ticket provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips.
• Secure cargo for transport using straps, chains, or other fasteners.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and adapt to traffic or weather conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of shipments including time of arrival and departure, fuel usage and incidents.
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report delays or issues with deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving including weight and hours of service.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking oil levels, tire pressure and brakes.
