Overview of the role

We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our Honda Service/Body shop Departments across Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out dealership service on customer vehicles, ensuring optimum quality, increased productivity, and technical efficiency. This role is crucial in generating workshop revenue and maintaining high standards of service.

What you will do

• Execute service repairs promptly as per the repair order schedule
• Report additional jobs required in the car with cost estimates
• Maintain check sheets, log sheets, repair estimates, and service orders
• Ensure proper handling and upkeep of tools and equipment in the work bay
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues accurately, ensuring zero repeat repairs
• Complete eLearning courses and other on-the-job training as scheduled
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Participate in Tool Box Talk meetings and safety awareness training
• Ensure quality of work to avoid errors and resolve customer concern

Required skills to be successful

• High School graduate/Tech. School Graduate/ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership
• Technical skills, user skills in tools and equipment, basic PC skills, motor driving experience, and knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to work under pressure, honesty, and productivity
