Our client is expanding its technical leadership in Saudi Arabia and seeks two Technical Project Managers to oversee complex technology and industrial programs. You will manage scope, budgets and schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to meet critical milestones.

Two roles include a mix of Saudi-specific projects and a dedicated Aramco program, with regional travel and governance oversight. Fluency in English is essential for stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

  • A technical, engineering or similarly relevant degree.
  • At least three years of successful experience managing complex technology, engineering or industrial projects.
  • Strong ownership of schedules, budgets, resources, risks and project deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary and matrix teams.
  • Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and centralize business and technical requirements and define scope.
  • Lead projects from kickoff through delivery, tracking milestones and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal contributors, customers, suppliers and external partners.
  • Ensure deliverables meet technical, commercial and quality requirements.
  • Organize reviews and decision meetings, reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Archive documentation and lead lessons-learned sessions.

Job description

Our client is a global deep-tech company developing quantum processors, cloud-based platforms and advanced software solutions for industrial and scientific applications.

As part of its continued expansion in Saudi Arabia, the company is hiring two Technical Project Managers:

  • One Project Manager will oversee a portfolio of technical and customer projects across Saudi Arabia.
  • One Project Manager will be primarily dedicated to projects delivered in partnership with Saudi Aramco.
What You Will Do
Project Design and Planning
  • Gather and centralize business and technical requirements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
  • Assess project feasibility with the relevant technical teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans, milestones, budgets and resource requirements.
  • Identify technical, operational and commercial risks and establish appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Define project governance, roles, responsibilities and working methods.
  • Secure stakeholder approval and formally launch projects.
Project Delivery
  • Lead projects from kickoff through final delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, budget consumption and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal contributors, customers, suppliers and external partners.
  • Ensure that deliverables meet the agreed technical, commercial and quality requirements.
  • Identify issues and dependencies early and guide teams toward practical solutions.
  • Manage changes in scope, schedule, resources or customer requirements.
  • Prepare clear dashboards and reports for project committees and senior stakeholders.
  • Organize and document customer reviews, internal reviews, steering committees and decision meetings.
  • Maintain strong communication between commercial, technical and customer teams.
Project Closure
  • Confirm the completion and acceptance of all project deliverables.
  • Finalize and archive project documentation.
  • Lead project-closure and lessons-learned reviews.
  • Recommend improvements to project-management methods and tools.
What We Are Looking For
  • A technical, engineering or similarly relevant degree.
  • At least three years of successful experience managing complex technology, engineering or industrial projects.
  • Strong ownership of schedules, budgets, resources, risks and project deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary and matrix teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, structured and delivery-focused working style.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Ability to work from the Riyadh office approximately two to three days per week.
Additional Requirements for the Aramco-Dedicated Position
The Project Manager supporting Aramco should also have:
  • Experience managing customer-facing projects within Saudi Arabia.
  • The ability to work from Aramco’s premises in Dhahran for approximately one to two weeks per month.
  • Confidence operating within complex governance and stakeholder structures.
  • Experience in energy, industrial technology, advanced computing, AI, cloud or a similarly technical field.

Previous experience with Saudi Aramco or another major Saudi enterprise would be a strong advantage.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in oil and gas, energy or industrial digitalization.
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or a comparable project-management certification.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering or complex product lifecycles.
  • Experience working with suppliers, subcontractors or research institutions.
