Job summary

PIPECARE Group seeks an experienced Team Leader [Operations] to guide field project workers, ensuring safe, effective and efficient execution within time, resource, and financial plans. You will oversee reporting, tool provisioning, and client coordination across sites and kick-off meetings.

Ideal candidate holds a mechanical/aerospace engineering degree with 3+ years in operation planning, and brings strong English communication, travel readiness, and ILI exposure in oil and gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) with at least 3 years of operation planning experience.
• Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Fluent in English; local language skills considered an advantage.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other reports.
• Discuss equipment and tools requirements for field use.
• Study project information documents and procedures.
• Establish professional contact with client field personnel.
• Manage and develop the team to execute field work safely and efficiently.
• May stop work at site if safety is compromised.
• Coordinate field activities between team, subcontractor, client and others.
• Visit client sites for kick-off meetings and risk assessment reviews.

Job description

PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Groupis looking for an experienced Team Leader [Operations] who will lead the team of field Project workers and making sure that the Project work is executed in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with the time, resources and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
• Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc.
• Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
• Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations
• Manage and develop the team to execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with time, resource and financial planning.
• Is authorized to stop execution of any work at site if it is unsafe or may create unsafe work conditions.
• Coordinate field activities between the team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties.
• Visit client’s sites (site kick-off meetings, field surveys, risk assessment review meetings, etc.).

Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience
• Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
• Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
• Fluency in English, the language of the Territory is an advantage
• Ability to travel extensively

• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
