Your Career

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. You will provide technical leadership and guidance in your customer’s security transformation journey, define technical solutions that secure business imperatives, and evangelize our leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services.

Your Impact

Role

Curiosity is core to the Solutions Consultant role. You define your impact by:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions
  • Understanding customer business requirements and ability to position, demonstrate and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio, creating business value for customers
  • Driving customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform and building relationships to increase productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate
  • Conducting discovery to articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers
  • Working with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure adoption of solutions
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills through effective presentations and customer-specific demos; conducting technical engagements and workshops
  • Leading technical validation efforts to ensure a technical win in opportunities
  • Demonstrating cross-functional leadership by coordinating resources to ensure a cohesive strategy
  • Promoting end-to-end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating PANW's leadership
  • Investing in personal development and participating in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events
  • Identifying technical stakeholders and cultivating relationships to build a security-architecture transformation roadmap

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
  • Skilled in at least one of: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence business initiatives
  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience ideal
  • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements
  • Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
  • Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption
  • Experience in complex sales with long cycles and multiple buying centers; multi-product solutions preferred
  • Field sales role with travel requirements; discuss specifics with recruiter
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
