Responsibilities

• Prepare construction site by laying out materials, digging trenches and setting up scaffolding
• Measure and cut materials to fit specific requirements
• Lay bricks, concrete blocks or stones according to blueprints or plans
• Mix mortar or grout and spread evenly between layers of brick or block
• Smooth and polish surfaces using hand or power tools
• Repair any damaged structures or surfaces
• Follow safety procedures at all times
