Job summary

Renardet SA & Partners is seeking a skilled professional to inspect pipeline construction activities in Muscat, Oman. Responsibilities include monitoring various pipeline installations and ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.

The role requires close coordination with contractors and stakeholders, as well as thorough documentation of inspections and compliance with QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipeline construction activities, focusing on excavation, trenching, pipe laying, bedding, backfilling, and reinstatement works.
• Monitor installation of water, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, utility, or oil & gas pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Verify pipe alignment, levels, welding, jointing, coating, and protection works.
• Witness hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, leak testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review inspection requests (IRs), RFIs, and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and progress reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.
