Job summary

Deloitte & Touche ME in Muscat is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate in Tax & Legal to support the Business Tax practice. You will assist clients with tax compliance and advisory services across local and international regimes, building trusted relationships and delivering commercially sound tax solutions.

The role targets Omani nationals and offers opportunities to grow technical expertise while collaborating with a regional team across industry sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of tax experience, focusing on business tax compliance and advisory services.
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Omani and international tax laws and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in meeting tax compliance obligations and identify planning opportunities.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with tailored tax advice.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues with comprehensive analyses.
• Coordinate multiple client engagements and deliverables with the tax team.
• Stay updated with latest tax laws in Oman and internationally.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver holistic solutions.
