Senior Planning Engineer with Civil Engineering background is sought for HV/EHV substation projects in Saudi Arabia. The role centers on planning, scheduling, and project controls for 132kV and 380kV substations within an EPC framework.

You will develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate across disciplines, analyze delays, and prepare EOT documentation. Strong Primavera P6 and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Strong background in planning, scheduling, and project controls for large infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.

Responsabilités

• Develop, update, and monitor baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Plan and control civil construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, control buildings, equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, and associated infrastructure.
• Develop integrated EPC schedules covering engineering, procurement, civil works, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, resource histograms, and look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor critical paths, identify potential delays, and develop recovery and acceleration plans.
• Perform delay analysis and prepare supporting documentation for Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and clients.
• Monitor project milestones, productivity, resource allocation, and overall schedule performance.

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Senior Planning Engineer (Civil Engineering Background) with proven expertise in planning, scheduling, and project controls for 132kV and 380kV Substation Projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in construction planning and project controls.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in HV/EHV substation projects, preferably 132kV and 380kV.
• Prior experience with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of civil construction sequences and multidisciplinary EPC project interfaces.
• Experience in delay analysis, recovery schedules, and EOT claims.
• Excellent reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
