Job summary

Gender in Oman is seeking a Lead Engineer, Mechanical (Pipeline/Piping) to deliver pipeline engineering design across Concept to EPC under the Mechanical Engineering Manager, at the Oman Refinery.

You will lead cross-country and in-plant pipeline projects, ensure compliance with ASME B31.4/8/3 and ISO/API standards, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with field, projects, procurement, construction, and operation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English; Arabic desirable.
• Pipeline experience in cross-country and in-plant systems.
• Proficiency with international codes and standards (ASME B31.4, B31.8, B31.3, API, ISO, ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate pipeline engineering activities across Concept to EPC phases.
• Prepare and review pipeline layouts, GA drawings, isometrics, and route studies.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
• Mentor and develop junior pipeline engineers and support design reviews.
