Job summary

The Central Bank of Oman is seeking an Executive IT Auditor to lead risk-based audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, information security, and technology operations in Muscat. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline.
• Desirable certifications include CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIA or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
• Experience with AI governance or emerging technologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct risk-based IT audits of infrastructure, cybersecurity, information security and technology operations.
• Review controls over networks, servers, databases, cloud/on-premise platforms and critical services.
• Assess IT General Controls, identity and access management, change management, backup and recovery, patching and vulnerability management.
• Evaluate cybersecurity governance, monitoring, incident response, resilience and disaster recovery arrangements.
• Examine network security, segmentation, firewall management, remote access and related controls.
• Assess third-party and vendor technology risks and outsourced infrastructure.
